About

Artem Goncharov

Hi, I'm Artem Goncharov - eCommerce expert

I've lived in the Czech Republic since 2009 and for the last 7 years I've been helping entrepreneurs launch and grow online sales in the Czech Republic and across Europe. My team includes specialists in development, design, marketing, and legal support. We join at any stage — from platform selection to first real orders.

About eShops

I build and grow online stores on proven platforms - Shoptet, Shopify, WooCommerce, Upgates, Eshop-rychle, and custom Astro. Platform choice follows budget, catalogue, and target markets - not the fastest template alone.

Czech eCommerce platform founded in 2008. Market leader for online stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Features easy setup, local support, and built-in integration with accounting, logistics, and marketplaces.

WordPress extension launched in 2011, quickly becoming one of the world's most popular eCommerce solutions. Open-source platform offering complete flexibility in development and design.

Canadian platform founded in 2006, used in over 170 countries. Shopify offers stable cloud infrastructure, user-friendly interface, and extensive scalability options.

Czech platform for creating and managing online stores, focused on medium and large businesses. Offers high customization, multistore support, and ERP system integrations.

Czech e-commerce platform for quickly creating your own online store without coding, developed by Eshop-rychle. Suitable for beginners as well as small and medium-sized businesses that want to launch online sales quickly with minimal costs. It provides an all-in-one solution including templates, payments, shipping, and marketing tools, while the whole store can be created and launched within minutes.

The Astro framework lets you build a fully custom online store without the limits of template-based products, with full control over design, features, and integrations with internal systems (ERP, logistics, marketplaces). The result is a highly flexible, scalable solution tailored to the customer that can grow with the business. Expect higher time and budget requirements, because this is greenfield development best suited to more demanding projects where standard platforms are not enough.

Systems & integrations

An e-shop has to fit ERP, warehouse, CRM and ops tools. I connect Abra, Aimtec DCIx, CareCloud, Retino, Balíkobot, SmartEmailing, Mergado, DeepScout, Conviu and more to match your stack.

Abra

Abra

ABRA is a Czech ERP ecosystem - we typically deploy GEN (heavier on-premise / hybrid) or cloud Flexi. I connect the e-shop to products, warehouses, price lists, orders, invoices and documents so accounting and operations share one source of truth. That includes field mapping, status sync, API errors and business rules (VAT, stock, variants) so a web order lands correctly in the company without retyping.

Aimtec DCIx

Aimtec DCIx

Aimtec DCIx is a WMS / digitalization layer between ERP and the warehouse - inbound, putaway, picking, packing, dispatch and stocktakes. I wire the e-shop and marketplace channels so availability and reservations match the real warehouse, not just an admin number. Typical work: stock states, issue notes, batches / SSCC and carrier handoff so large catalogue and B2B ops survive peak order volume.

CareCloud CRM

CareCloud CRM

CareCloud CRM keeps the customer history beside the store: contacts, tickets, notes and follow-ups around orders and claims. I connect sales and support workflows so the team sees what was bought, what is claimed and what was promised. It fits when the e-shop inbox is not enough and you need a CRM trail across web, phone and marketplaces without losing context.

Retino

Retino

Retino specializes in returns and claims (RMA). Linked to the e-shop it simplifies the customer portal, case statuses, messaging, return labels and goods back into warehouse / ERP. I set approval rules, stock movements and refunds so returns do not block operations or ratings on comparison engines and marketplaces.

Balíkobot

Balíkobot

Balíkobot is an API layer over carriers (Zásilkovna, PPL, Czech Post and more). From the e-shop or WMS it creates labels, shipment IDs, tracking and handover batches without logging into every carrier admin. I connect orders, service selection, pickup points, COD and error handling so dispatch scales with order and marketplace growth.

SmartEmailing

SmartEmailing

SmartEmailing covers email marketing and automation - segments, campaigns, triggers and links to catalogue and orders. I map store events (purchase, cart, signup) to retention and LTV journeys, not only a monthly newsletter. Data consistency matters: languages, consents and product blocks that match real assortment and stock.

Mergado

Mergado

Mergado manages and optimises product feeds for Heureka, Zboží, Google, Meta and other channels. Instead of hand-edited XML I set rules, category mapping, title cleanup, filters and multiple outputs from one source. That keeps ads and comparison engines consistent when the catalogue changes or you expand to more markets.

DeepScout

DeepScout

DeepScout monitors assortment and market prices - competitors, availability and price moves. I use it as input for pricing and product strategy: where you are expensive, which top SKUs are missing, what to push into feeds and marketplaces. We put data next to your catalogue and margins so it is controlled decision-making, not blind undercutting.

Conviu

Conviu

Conviu automates feeds, pairing, bidding and connections to comparison engines and marketplaces. It sits between the store and channels: transforms data, pushes outputs and can sync marketplace orders back. I use it when native exports are not enough for complex rules, repricing or two-way marketplace ops without expensive custom build.

Selling on marketplaces

A common request is listing your catalogue on Central European marketplaces - with feeds, product cards, and logistics ready for orders. The most widespread platforms in the region:

The largest marketplace and price comparison site in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Popular for price comparison, reviews, and high organic traffic.

One of the most popular online marketplaces in Slovenia. Suitable for brands looking to enter Balkan markets.

Leading e-commerce platform in Poland, in the top 10 European marketplaces. Over 20 million active customers monthly.

Czech marketplace with strong logistics and huge product range. Operating in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, and Germany.

A strong European marketplace operated by Kaufland, growing rapidly in Germany and gradually expanding into other EU countries. Suitable for sellers who want to leverage a trusted brand, solid logistics infrastructure, and high customer trust. It offers a broad assortment, easy integration, and access to millions of active users.

A traditional Czech online marketplace focused on both auctions and direct sales, operated by Aukro. Especially strong in collectibles, electronics, and unique goods. It primarily serves the Czech market and is ideal for sellers who want to reach a local audience and use the auction model to maximize price. It offers easy product listing and an active buyer community.

Frequently asked questions

We've already started something but need help.

Yes - I can join at any stage. I review what you already have (platform, catalogue, payments, logistics, marketplace), find the gaps, and propose concrete next steps. We do not restart from zero unless we must: we finish an incomplete store, fix integrations, or add marketplace sales so you have a clear path to orders.

What platforms do you use for building e-shops?

Most often Shoptet, WooCommerce, and Shopify; depending on the brief also Upgates, Eshop-rychle, or a custom Astro build. The choice depends on budget, catalogue size, customization needs, and target markets (CZ/SK vs international). On a consultation we compare trade-offs and pick a platform that works long-term - not only the fastest launch.

Do you help with payment and logistics system integration?

Yes. I set up payment gateways used in Czechia and the EU (for example Comgate, Global Payments, Stripe, and others by project) and shipping - Zásilkovna, Balíkovna, PPL, AlzaBox, and carriers by country. The goal is a working checkout: payment, delivery, order statuses, and handoff to the warehouse without manual improvisation.

Can I sell to other EU countries if my company is in the Czech Republic?

Yes. A Czech company can sell to other EU countries. I help with the practical setup: catalogue and price localization, shipping and payments for the target market, basic tax/OSS context, and a go-live checklist. Legal and tax details are aligned with your accountant or lawyer - I prepare the eCommerce side for cross-border sales.

Can you help with company registration, domain, and the full technical setup?

Yes. I can run the full start: domain, hosting, store, analytics, email, and the basic company/technical setup. For company formation I work with trusted partners so you are not assembling vendors alone. The outcome is a sales-ready foundation, not just a registered domain.

Do you help with product listings?

Yes - product listings are one of the most important parts of e-commerce. I prepare or improve titles, descriptions, translations, variants, photos, and SEO fields so the catalogue works on your store and on marketplaces. Weak listings lose conversions and ratings; that is why this is a standard part of launch, not optional copy polish.

Do you work on contract?

Yes. Work is contractual, and I invoice through the Czech legal entity VRLab s.r.o., a VAT payer. Scope, timeline, and price are described clearly before we start so you know exactly what is delivered.

How much does an online store cost?

Pricing is always individual. It depends mainly on product count, readiness of assets (texts, photos, translations), chosen platform, required integrations (payments, shipping, ERP), and whether you launch a store, marketplaces, or both. After a short consultation I propose scope and a realistic budget based on time and complexity - not a one-size price list that would be wrong for most projects.

How long does it take to build an online store?

Timeline depends on scope and your readiness. With a ready catalogue, launch is much faster; missing data, photos, or platform decisions usually delay content prep more than the technical build. After the first consultation you get a realistic timeline with clear milestones.

Will I be able to run the store myself after you're done?

Yes. I build the store so you can handle daily operations yourself: products, orders, and basic settings. At the start one person is usually enough; as sales grow you typically add people for orders, packing, or ads. You do not need a large team from day one.

Will I manage on my own or need to contact you constantly?

The goal is independence. After the project I train you or your staff on catalogue, orders, and basic changes. Ongoing support is optional - you can continue with me or run operations alone. This is not a model where every small change requires a call.

Can we sell only on marketplaces without our own e-shop?

Yes. Marketplace-only is a common path at the start or for market testing. Pros: faster launch and built-in traffic. Cons: platform fees, less brand control, and dependency on marketplace rules. We review Heureka, Allegro, Alza, Kaufland and others by country and decide whether marketplaces alone are enough or a store + marketplace mix is smarter.

SMM, PPC, SEO – what to do? Everyone says it's essential for e-shops.

SEO, PPC, and SMM are important growth tools - but not the first step if you still have nowhere to sell. First we put your offer on a store, marketplace, or both so ads lead to a working catalogue and checkout. Only then does systematic traffic work: SEO for organic, PPC for demand tests, SMM for brand. Otherwise you pay for clicks into empty space.
